By accessing or using Liinguist ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the App. These Terms apply to all users, including guests and registered account holders.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial language learning purposes. You may not:

You may use the App as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Certain features require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. All fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's app store account settings.

5. AI-Generated Content

Language feedback and scores are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for educational purposes only. They may not be perfectly accurate. Do not rely on AI feedback as a substitute for professional language instruction or formal assessment.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Liinguist or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited licence described above.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Liinguist SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. All provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Please review these Terms periodically.
